Security as a Business Enabler
We’re working with Wenta to support startup and newly established businesses understand the security risks they face and what they can do to mitigate them. Security risks have the potential to seriously harm business operations and cause unplanned expenditure in the form of response costs. According to a Forbes report, 83% of small and medium-sized businesses are not financially prepared to recover from a cyber attack; which could mean that many of them go out of business quickly.
This event aims to introduce founders and their teams to the potential risks they face, give them top tips on how to avoid some of the common threats and provide an overview of the NCSC’s Cyber Essentials certification; which not only helps to protect the organisation but can enable the business to win new contracts and gain stakeholder support.
